I don't really care about which bowl, I'm more concerned about the matchup.
That said, Texas would've been my third choice. LSU at 8-4 would look like a mis-match against a 6-6 Texas. Arky at 6-6 is a much better matchup for Texas - and should kick their arse.
At 8-4, LSU looks like a better match with ND (7-5), Oklahoma (8-4) or Nebraska (9-3). So I'm happy with the matchup with Notre dame.
