The only time I ever got busted, I was downloading a movie that I already owned in VHS Format. I told them I'd send them the proof of purchase, they apologized, and we all got on our way.

They (suddenlink) shut down my internet friday for using my Ouya and side-loaded popcorn time (uses torrents to stream) to stream the first episode of true detective a month ago before realizing i had HBOGO login and finished the season on that.
They shut my internet off a month later (friday) and I had to call them to clear it up.
From what I discerned, they have certain sites they flag for traffic, because I've downloaded tons of other shite from a private tracker and they didnt say anything about those.
