There's nothing wrong with being optimistic but I don't like threads like this. They tend to raise expectations higher than they should be and tend feed self inflicted letdowns like 5 for 5.

Keeping recruiting expectations down should be a personal thing. Don't let threads by the rant raise them. Recruiting is way different than a 12 game season for a 9 year coach, however.
