After all the talk about how pitiful the Big 10 is, if Bama gets rolled by OSU, the SEC will have it's collective mouths shut but worse, it could start to put a chink in the "SEC has a great conference so that schedule alone counts big" argument.

I'm hoping Bama rolls over OSU and loses in the last minute to whomever they face next.

the result of the game has nothing to do with alabama playing the 11th, 1st, 15th, 20th and 25th ranked teams in the country (At the time they played)

That would be incorrect.

Not that I even care but the "argument" didn't really do us any great favors this year. The one team that deserved to get in (Alabama) got in.

FSU sure as hell wasn't hurt by their schedule.

I don't give a damn about conference pride or what other conference fans say about the SEC. I will never cheer for Alabama in any capacity.

Can I get "SEC" as a favorite team option?

LSU struggled to beat that same Wisconsin team that just got blasted by tOSU while nearly beating Bama without an offense.

Bama and the SEC had a lot of depth but were not near as good at the top as most want to believe.

I was pulling for Ga Tech last night against FSU. The SEC circle jerk-patting each other on the back must get exhausting.

why should we root for a team we compete against instead of a team that we seldom face? Bama being good ultimately only helps Bama.

Furthermore, the premise of your post is that we should root for Bama because conference prestige matters... even though you acknowledge this year's Big Ten had pretty near zero conference prestige. That's a complete non-sequitor

I'd rather not do that.
