Exactly.

I'm tired of always waiting until 'next year' for things to kick into gear.

This has been happening year after year. It gets real old, real fast.

LSU is a top tier football program year in and year out. Yet for whatever reason we can not develop a quarterback. This literally makes no sense to me. We have what looks like all the money in the world, and we still can't do it. I hate the feeling in my gut when we fall behind in games, because I know chances are, barring a miracle, there's a real threat we will lose. Because we can't pass.

You have all these other schools with nowhere near the talent we bring in and can still field a decent quarter back. Then of course when ours fail to develop, it's back to the old adage "It's wasn't going to be our year anyway, this was to be expected."

(Do you know how embarrassing that is?)

Except now that's becoming every year. I'm sorry, but what I do expect is LSU to compete for championships almost every year. That 'down year' stuff annoys me when you have teams like Bama going virtually undefeated each year. Even including the "down" ones.

Last time I checked, we're the only school (outside of a few others) that can go toe to toe with them. So sorry, if Bama can consistently perform at a high level, so can we.

And because of that I will not be lowering my expectations. We have championship caliber talent, top notch facilities, etc. In addition to some of the highest paid coaching staff in the nation.

We have the seventh highest paid coach in CFB. I expect seventh highest paid results. This is borderline unacceptable.
