Well they didn't allude to that in the movie at all. And I said I didn't read the book so it may have been different.

The movie would have been much better if they had stuck to the book ending. Think about it man, the creatures are intelligent, Neville kidnaps them and experiments on them.

Neville being revealed as the antagonist makes the movie be viewed in an entirely different way.

Director's cut is the only version you should see

It is a remake. Of the Omega Man.
