Does he get much harder? I abused the environment to dodge most of his attacks. Can generally get 1 or 2 in safely. Also, his physical attacks can be stunned.

I'm low on blood vials so that doesn't help. I had him down to the end and ran out of vials. Now I need to grind vials which I really don't want to do.
