Here is the actual Website to send your gun in. It covers both the Xmark and regular triggers. The damn Remington site only talks about Xmark but if u call them they will give this to you. If you are trying to get though hunting season this year, OK. Just no kids please and be careful. Unload the damn things going to and out of stands and on ATV's.

I think a great way to check for possible issues is to get gun gold put in freezer maybe and check it like the guy did in this u tube video. If the pin fires send it in, if not and u want to wait you are probably ok.

Notice all problems seem to be in cold weather. I would check my gun every am just to be sure. it obviously doesn't happen in every gun, but almost everyone in our 15 man hunting club had this problem on at least one occasion with a 700 or a friend or relative that did. Scared the hell out of me last year.
They will pay shipping and make the needed repair. U can also just put a Timmey trigger on them for about 200 bucks.
Please be safe guys, and don't trust teenagers or kids to always use proper safety techniques, even though you taught them well and they are good kids etc. They brains are not fully developed and they are all bullet proof just like you and I were at that age. That is why they are not legal responsible for their behavior. You are responsible for their safety.
