Yea...they looked like world beaters against Mizzu.

Didn't they play a backup qb against Mizzu?

You're the one who brought up LSU. We were talking about LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas.

Hardly unrelated.

But damn, I'm already worried about the LSU/Auburn game in 2018! Looking like an Auburn win :-/

This year, yes. Your defense was hot garbage.

At least your committal. Guess we're lucky we got them in August. I can only presume it's your belief that they'd out score us.

No.

Unless their backup QB is Brandon Allen who went 13-30 for 133 yards.

If I recall, they scored with pretty decent success in the 1st half of your game. Looked like y'all made some good halftime adjustment and shut them down 2nd half. Do you think your D could have stopped them the way they were playing at the end of the year? Plus Arky's D was pretty salty by the end of the year.

No. We should have.

We played a gimpy one instead.

I think Muschamp would be smart to go to SC over AU.

I don't think our D could stop anybody. I do think we could outscore them though.

I also don't think, offensively, they were playing anything special at the end of the year, so maybe that's where our disconnect is. Either way in the where is muschamp going to be a DC probably isn't the thread for exercises in futility.

Yea if they give him HCIW (or even a gentleman's agreement of such) he'd be a fool to pick auburn. But would you want your team to give him HCIW?

Spurrier has said he will not fire anyone.

If anything were to change, Ward will be re-assigned or Muschamp will take a position "above" Ward so he can retain DC title.

Similar to Ellis Johnson, who was Assistant Coach for Defense I think. Lorenzo Ward has always been a "Defensive Coordinator".

guess y'all have to hold on tight to that LSU win when you only get it once every four years.

I personally don't care that much about the LSU game other than wanting to win every game. I would be satisfied with a repeat of 2013. If Auburn finishes ahead of LSU in the western division standings next year, it will be the 3rd straight year that has happened

Wait a minute? That wasn't the backup?
So, he is returning next year?
