Orgeron has been known to use local black ministers to aid in his recruiting of black players; to the extent at O.Miss he was close to being investigated for it. Last I read, there are very few black churches up there. Like Barry Switzer said back in his hayday: there are 2 things for black players to do in Lincoln & Norman in the winter: bowl & lift weights.Not sure if he'd be the recruiter up there as he's been. Can imagine how that accent of his would come across to all those corn farmers.
