Echoes may very well be the greatest Pink Floyd song of them all.

Meddle pound for pound is a much better album. The Wall is full of throwaway crap and always reminded me of a poor man's Tommy or Quadrophenia.

It's hard to really compare "pound for pound" since the wall has like 25 "songs" (some of which are only a minute, and I believe a couple are even less than a minute) while Meddle only has 6. And it bears repeating Meddle contains the worst song PF has ever put out. It has 2 great songs, 2 good songs, a below average song, and a shitty one.

I'm not talking "pound for pound", because the disparity in song quantity is too much..I'm talking about albums. And The wall is far and away the better album. It's better than ummagumma and AHM as well.
