But what's your favorite song from it

I guess Comfortably Numb, but I really just like the solos in it.

I've just never been a fan of The Wall, even though I like some other melancholy albums. I'd consider myself a pretty big Pink Floyd fan as well, but this album just falls way behind works like Meddle , Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here and even stuff like Ummagumma and Atom Heart Mother.

Dear Lord.

Meddle starts out with a solid jam, then has a slow dragging number, 2 awesome songs (fearless is one of my favorites they've ever done), followed by what is widely regarded as one of the worst tracks they've ever put out. Then you have echoes which is great, but it's 25 got damn minutes. I'm a big floyd fan but at some point there comes a time where you're just done listening to a song.

To say that Meddle is "way behind" the wall is simply laughable.

The Wall might be Floyd's worst album other than the the later stuff that is barely worth listening to

it represents everything that sucks about prog/concept album music. overindulgent is putting it nicely.
