Every time you see me, you try to mess with me.
I'm tired of it. It stops today.
I'm minding my business officer. I'm minding my business.
Please, I told you the last time to leave me alone.
Please leave me alone. Please.
Please don't touch me. Do not touch me.
[garbled] I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I cant breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe.
Kind of haunting.
Kind of sad.
A clear injustice.
I'm tired of it. It stops today.
I'm minding my business officer. I'm minding my business.
Please, I told you the last time to leave me alone.

Please don't touch me. Do not touch me.

He was minding his own business by selling black market cigarettes.
Why didn't he just use a phone and meet people instead of setting up shop on the street?
He should have placed his hands behind his back.

This one is a travesty.

Technically the cop did nothing illegal. But he should absolutely be sued in civil court.

No one put the loosies in Garner's hands and forced him to sell them. His decision to knowingly engage in illegal activities while having such poor health is on his own head.
With that said, the office broke protocol by using a form of a choke hold the NYPD specifically prohibits. That is on his head.
This was an unfortunate confrontation, but why did it happen, especially since this is a misdemeanor that's been going on for years? Because Bloomberg pushed the NYPD to crack down hard on people selling loosies (ie: "loose cigarettes") because they aren't taxed. Unfortunately, not enough people will go beyond the black/white or black/cop issue to put this on Bloomberg's head.
Always follow the money.

Many here have already convicted Garner of selling loose cigarettes because the Cops accused him or said so . Its frightening that people believe the Cops words/reports are near gospel.
So did the Cops find 1 Cigarette on Garner's dead body(courtesy of NYPD) let alone evidence that he was selling loose cigarettes? It seems Cops were were harassing a man acting as a good Samaritan & it seems it isn't the 1st time he was harassed for doing nothing(based upon some past incidents selling cigarettes).
The cameraman & everyone in the vicinity claims the Cops were called because of a fight in which Garner actually broke up.
Have the police produced 1 cigarette that Garner was selling or the proceeds(money) from said sells?

Yes this is the case that should have elicited rioting if one did. This is a clear excessive force case from viewing the video and I don't understand not indicting the policeman.
