Is high milage oil necessary?

My 2.0L turbo Sonata is approaching 115,000 miles. Car is 3.5 years old with 80-85% of the miles driven being highway. I get my oil changed every 5000 miles and replace the engine air filter every 15000-20000 miles. I just changed the spark plugs for the first time at 110,000 miles. No other maintenance has been performed and it runs like the day I got it with no issues.
A) Is high milage oil needed now that I'm over the 100,000mile mark
B) Do you suggest any other preventative maintenance?

no, high mileage oil is nothing more than a sales gimmick...if you decide that you have to do something, just go to a heavier weight of oil...but that shouldn't be necessary either...
one thing that you should do at 100K is to flush your coolant system...also may want to look at changing all belts and hoses if you plan to keep the vehicle a while...

High mileage oils have extra seal swelling agents that could help some engines with small seal leaks. Problem is once you use them and the seals swell they will wear in to that new size so you are stuck using that oil. If your engine isn't leaking or consuming an inordinate amount of oil then stay away from it.

No, my work car has 120k and the oil only gets changed when the computer tells me to. It's usually between 7k and 10k intervals.
