Studied abroad in Innsbruck one winter skied all around the area. The lift tickets were much cheaper at all the mountains we skied and the rentals were cheap and pretty high quality. We always went to Axamer Lizum. There are a couple of other close mountains as well. Innsbruck is a pretty fun little town and a close train ride to Munich as well.

Did you make it to a bar called Threissen Brau? We went there every night, hot waitresses. Also, was Zappa's bar still open?
