One concern that I have is the lack of HDCP 2.2 in the new receivers even those with HDMI 2.0.

There are several threads on AVSForum regarding it but until they finalize that standard, I am waiting. I was planning on getting a new receiver this Christmas and a 4k TV next year but I will just have to wait.

I have an Onkyo with the HDMI issue. Cant go full 1080P without it freaking out every ten minutes. I made it my second zone receiver and replace with a pioneer. Never getting another onkyo. However, my onkyo sub from 1996 is still rocking.
