I've seen all I've needed to see of the team this year to know they will only go as far as Gray will lead them. If Gray is aggressive, the team will be competitive. If Gray is passive they will lose a lot of games. Gray is our best player and he really needs to take on that attitude when he steps on the court each and every time he plays.

I wouldn't say that he is LSU's best player, but he certainly "drives the bus". LSU doesn't exactly run a very structured offense (or at least it doesn't appear that way to me) They get a lot of their shots off of winning one-on-one matchups. I don't think anybody can consistently stay in front of Gray if he wants to get into the lane. Him doing so draws defenders and provides open looks for Mickey and Martin. For LSU to win games he has to create scoring opportunities for both himself and his teammates.
