so i know this family with multiple nipples

I know a family of 5 that all have extra nipples in a line like a dog.
some have four, some have 5, some have 3.
is this a sign of evolution?
I mean....did humans once have nipples in line like a fricking dog?

My company acquired a European company a few months back and I traveled to Europe last week to meet my new boss (as I took a new promotion to work with the new company/biz unit).
Well, no one gave me the heads up that my boss had 2 thumbs on her right hand. The extra thumb was almost fully formed and was coming out of her normal thumb. It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen and yet I could not stop staring at it.
