I lived in St Maarten for two years. Never saw a mouse in my house or any place, and I did enjoy the fact that you never had to worry about snakes anywhere you went

They are all over the Cupecoy area. When you walk out of the med school at night there are a ton of little mice running everywhere and the cats just sit on the dumpster. However, it is nice when walking and you see something move out of the corner of your eye to know you don't have to worry about a snake.
