Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand is a must read.
I'm only about 100 pages in so I haven't hit the really good stuff yet but it's been a pretty good read so far. From all accounts I'll probably have it as a must read as well.
I did a re-read of the ASOIAF series this year and I'm almost to the end of book 4, A Feast for Crows.
A River Runs Through It and Other Stories - Norman Maclean
Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
The Devil in the White City - Erik Larson
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - Rebecca Skloot
FWIW, I really haven't read a bad book this year and would recommend them all.
