re: How many books have you read this year? What are some new must reads?

I read Gone Girl after the movie. It was awesome, and I liked it about equally to the movie. After that, I read Flynn's two other books, and they were not worth it in my opinion. Flynn has pretty cool stories in both books, but she doesn't know how to tell them. It's a chore to read her stuff. The sentences don't flow at all.

I also read Unbroken. It's awesome. The other stuff I read wouldn't interest the people on this board, so I won't even bother.
