Always a pleasure to return to work post Bayou Classic

Every year, exact same thing. Countless NFL and college games, concerts, conventions, and other events, yet this is the only time each year one has to navigate piles of trash to park a car.

Was at a SEC Championship game one year (think it was when we played Tennessee). One of the people in a RV parked next to ours was a manager for the Hyatt Regency. I asked him how could he get away from work with the Bayou Classic happening this weekend?
He said we only rent out about 30% of the rooms to save on the destruction of the hotel. I was confused and asked what he meant. He said, hell, they BBQ in the bathtub of the rooms and leave everything in the bathtub.

Kind of like how every Sunday I'd have to go to campus to do work I'd have to step over piles of trash that would make the "pile" in your picture look like Martha Stewart's house.

Last LSU game I was at, the campus looked like a garbage can. Trash everywhere - people just throwing it on the ground, cans overflowing, trash around the cans.
Maybe it was just that day, but I was taken aback by how sloppy people were. It was 2 years ago.
