He's virtually the same size as Cam and he's being recruited to pitch/play outfield for ULL so I think the arm strength argument can be put to rest. He needs to develop his mechanics, mostly with his lower body. This happens to be the system that he runs in high school. He does not make those decisions. I mean Cam's offense at Auburn was completely different from what the Panthers asked of him. Just because a qb runs a certain system, doesn't mean they are not capable of running another one. That film was from a year ago as well.
Understand this, I'm very on board with Harris and his abilities. I'm not sold he's All World, but I believe he can develop into a good qb for LSU. I think Pellerin would add a serviceable role to the qb depth. Also, I like the fact that he can take some time to develop and maybe stay on campus a while, and also add some opportunities to have some running packages or run some scout looks against spread opponents.
The staff is taking a good look at Pellerin and don't be surprised to read more about him in the coming months. I honestly think Ole Miss has a good shot to hold onto him because of the opportunity there.
