Olddawg, I do know the Pattersons as I think you might too. My gut feeling is that he doesn't go to LSU for several reasons, although I hope he does. You talk to the players on the team who are around him 12 hours a day, and they don't think he'll end up at LSU. I know he's real high on Ole Miss, USC ,and a few more. His brother at LSU could end up being a negative. He's so close to LSU's pathetic offensive woes that maybe that steers him elsewhere. I could see a bidding war happening for his brother a job in order to land Shea. I don't think he makes much now, yet works like a slave. He's technically not a coach. That's why he has to stay in the booth during games. Ole Miss OC at Calvary's playoff game 2 weeks ago and Sumlin at practice yesterday, yet no Les or Cam.

You could be right....but recruiting is far from over. I don't think he is going to commit till after his senior year so plenty of time for LSU to get things going again. LSU would be crazy not to get him at LSU....he could be the difference between a top 10 and top 5 recruiting class. Either way he is going to be successful....Shea works harder than any QB I have seen at his age. Always doing something to get better.
