Glad you're happy with pretend victories and gold stars while our rivals win handily and without question. Thanks for being a fan.

What?

I'm glad we won. I was encouraged that we seemed to mix it up with misdirection, jet sweeps, reverses, etc. for the first time this year. Outside of that, I'm still really pissed about where we are, sitting at 8-4 (4-4). Absolutely zero excuse for how that Arkansas game went and we still have a lot of work to do to get to where we should be next year.

You should try being reasonable, looking at good and bad and not acting like a blubbering vagina some time.

YEP!!! I love being a fan of the Tigers, because even when we don't win championships year after year, we can still make up our own!

There is always happiness to be found when you simply lower the bar!

Who cares about Alabama? Who really cares about titles or championships or finishing above middle of the pack or decent bowl games when you can be 4-0 against SEC newcomers?

We agree on a lot of points but what I'm reaffirming is that it still doesn't matter. Nobody cares about that win but LSU fans. We still have a lot of questions unanswered and have lost a shite ton of respect in the national viewpoint.

These "feel good" stats that keep popping up in threads of their own don't matter; they fix none of our current issues.

So you would say our losses to Bama in say 2009, 2012, and this past year were "handily without question"? How about their 14-13 win vs arkansas with a missed extra point and a very questionable tripping penalty negating a touchdown?

Lets go to auburn-> a returned FG for a TD with no time left a tipped deflection on a hail mary into a receivers arms among MANY other things last year.

I can keep going if youd like.

OK? I never said it mattered in the grand scheme of the landscape of college football this year and literally no one else is. It was a win and one that was encouraging because we finally showed some imagination on offense. Gives me a bit of hope going into the bowl and the offseason. No more, no less.

You are so right.

I bet they won't tell you THAT when you visit the Bama trophy room!

They should put a star on those trophies. And right next to the star put "but some of these games they had low margins of victory!"

and then they should make separate trophies for LSU and Arkansas. Almost-win trophies. Great idea!

Fair enough. I'm hoping too.

The hell?

Im not the one moaning about our "close win" its yall idiots. You have this mythical view that everyone wins every game 42-0 but thats just not the case. In fact (not this year as much however with a win vs BAMA I think we see a much different team vs Arky) if we pulled one-two more last minute drives to win games we shouldnt like Bama and Auburn have done the past 2 years we would have had a couple more SEC championship game appearances.

Who is whining about a close win?

We are upset with the losses, and it is you idiots who are boasting that they are "close losses."

Who cares? We still lost.

Did you know? Speedy Noil is a beast. I was hoping he would end the game with 2 catches for 7 yards, and one big fumble. But instead, he made a hell of a play to keep A&M in the game. He's the real deal.

Bull shite.. I stopped reading here. Beasts don't fumble during the most crucial parts of games. Malachi is better.

OB3 fumbled a punt vs Ga last year at the worst possible time. He's still fairly beastly. It happens.

Btw, you shoulda kept reading.

excellent post - they may be the MSU Bulldogs of Texas - we will have to let them have a win once every 12 years.
