I caught the replay of the Alabama vs Auburn 1982 game yesterday when another freshman -Vincent 'Bo' Jackson - broke a long run up the same left sideline from about the same position on the field as LF did last night.

Bama DB Jeremiah Castille - who BTW played some in the NFL himself - had a similar angle to what the A&M DB had on LF - and also caught him.

I think LF is "average fast" for D1 college football but his size-speed ratio is well above average.

Camparing anyone to hands down the greatest and most freakish athlete of all time is quite unfair. Bo ran in sub 4.2!! I would say Fournette is a legit 4.45 which is very elite for a 6'2" 230 lb 18 year old. He also ran 10.6 100 meter

STOP spewing erroneous info as facts!!! Look up actual 100m State finals before stating BS AND... Trey Quinn was reportedly 4.38 in the 40 and LF is reportedly as fast!! SEE how I said reportedly and didn't state it as a confirmed fact!!!

If he is a legit 4.45 guy, it doesn't translate to the football field. That's not to say he will not end up being an All American, which I think he will.

I wasn't being unfair. I was comparing that they BOTH got caught by fast guys with angles on them.

Bo and Herschel got caught many times, but much less often than most other RBs because they had elite speed like Trindon.
