Speedy seems light years ahead of Dupre and Quinn. I'm not talking about production, I'm talking about understanding of the position: route running, awareness, scramble play, and physicality

I'm guessing you haven't seen him much. I actually see Quinn ahead of Dupre in terms of the overall understanding of the position as well. Dupre can go get it when he is able to put his body in position and he'll be special, but he looks the most overwhelmed right now. I think it's mostly physical. The reason I did not include production in the argument was because it's impossible to compare the 2 systems. I'm talking about knowing where the ball is, competing for the ball, understanding when a play breaks down, and fighting for position. Speedy does all of those things better. If LSU is the only game you've seen him, you don't have a good understanding of this because LSU is the best and most physical secondary in the SEC. There are actually few SEC wrs that have done anything against LSU this year.
