The flu That's a bullshite excuse since you would eventually get better. Proof that your drug addiction has destroyed your career and reputation. When are you going to kill yourself Joshy Boy?
-- honestly with alprazolam when you're dealing with this stuff and mind you i said i was taking a lot of it coming off is the worst and trying to just get straightened out the minute everything wrapped it was weird because i couldnt just drop dossages the flu is that
what is your current favorite film, trank?
--not really current but ive been watching city of ember it was on tv one night and i enjoy the city of lost children vibe i got from it one of my favorites ive heard good things about mad max but i havent had much energy to go out and see it
Josh, who is your favorite director of all time? How do you feel about Zack Snyder as well?
favourite director will always be cronenbeg if it wasnt for staying up late and watching videodrome one night on HBO i never would have imagined getting into film and Spielberg honestly Zak is good when he has an outline to work with and he has great ideas I know he's more experienced than me but something about man of steel just got to me i liked suckerpunch for the visual and i think watchmen was as close as youll ever get and 300 was frank come to life and cant forget Dawn of the Dead which was great well with man of steel though i dont know it just felt depressing if theres something you shouldnt do its make a depressing superman movie even the colors were depressing it was an interesting take but i dont want to leave a superman film feeling depressed theres enough depressing movies out there you can change all you want about the character but the one thing you should change is tone of the stories and superman just hes a man powered by the sun seeing him you should be like completely you should almost feel walking out of the theater like you just spend the best day in the middle of july you should feel radiated
So what was the SW film you were going to work on?
like i said I really wanted to do a continuation of the shadows of the empire set up in the immediate aftermath with Xizor escaping the skyhook and putting a bounty on Dash's head with dash breaking out another bounty hunter to help him fend off IG88 and bring Xizor to the hutts
That sounds pretty cool, why did Disney reject that idea?
they didn't reject my idea they rejected me its more complicated than that but its basically that theres been a lot of mudslinging going back and forth some from disney some from fox still pissed they dont get star wars money
and me not knowing that an extra two alprazolam a day would mess me up when going to a regular dosage so withdraw induced flu and basically being told that both sides were the enemy one because they have their characters and the other because they have their original franchise it was just a huge headache to go from one saying dont mess this up or say anything to another dont mess this up or say anything dont trust them or him
So what you're saying is that I should give up my dreams of being a director and work at McDonald's. Because at the end of the day I'm still getting fricked, but I get to keep my job?
never ever give up your dream man like just because working for studios is basically like choosing to work for one demon over another dont let go of that dream if you have a story to tell write it if you have a shot in your head film it grab a dv cam and a fire wire and get the pick ups you see in your minds eye tell your story to everyone you know who will listen just because things go bad for one guy doesn't mean it goes bad for everyone if you have a movie in your brain shoot it even if its just a string of shots build around it dont give up because you read about the bad things go out there and make your dream because honestly making a movie is making your dream never give up
What are your thoughts on what's coming out for DC movies?
I remember a while ago a long time ago DC had a poster insert for one of the crisises and it said "heroes die legends live forever" and that's how DC should be making their movies DC has always been the modern version of the greek myths their heroes are more epic for lack of a better word the thing theyre doing with the darkness and bleach bypass it worked well for a batman movie but each hero is so vastly different there Batman V Superman should be Worlds Finest theres obviously going to be a fight but still it also seems like they focusing too much on earth DC has always had such a huge celestial playground you could make movies from some of these characters and no one would even know its a hero movie without seeing DC logo. You can have your ultimate hero saves the world with Superman your dark knight avenger with Batman your swashbuckling adventure with Aquaman your female empowerment and modern Hercules with WW your classic 40s pop-sci pulp adventure with Adam Strange your war movie with Sgt Rock your goofy and bizzarre punk fueled legion '91 your mystical with the Dark, or Costantine, or Phantom Stranger.. you have a whole color palette of movies to choose from movies that wouldn't be a cape in any sense of the word but would a fun ride to be on but instead it seems to the same marvel has heroes DC has legends they're basically the same but Marvel is every man heroes mostly and DC is god among men and everything in between. Could you imagine the horror you could with an Aparo inspired Spectre same goes for Marvel too I'd love to do a JM inspired Man-Thing movie.
Correct me if im wrong. Fox only wanted to make this movie to keep the rights right? Thats why they did their best to rush this movie out before the time ran out and the rights went back to Marvel/disney. Of coarse they wont out right say this , but this is why this movie even exists
That's essentially correct, but what's spending a few million dollars to make something people will forget in a few years compared to never being able to get the property back? At the end of the day that's how Fox sees it. Miller sees it as a way to have a job he's always wanted and Kinsberg is creepily obsessed with maintaining his comic toybox
We aren't getting a Deadpool movie because FOX believes in it we're getting a deadpool movie because it counts as an x-men film and the rights extend that much longer if the movies are good that's good but if the movies are bad they don't care they losing a few hundred million on something that is priceless. I just assumed why not just go weird then they're either going to make a boring movie that we have seen already or I could do something different and well as you can see different doesnt end well.

This is why twitter is the only place celebrities post shite under their own identities. Every agent should tell his clients to stay the hell away from message boards - posting as themselves. You get dragged down to their crude level and some of the more clever posters can really humiliate you. And of course, if you say too much, it WILL come back to bite you.

Interesting.
First things first. This dudes a complete mess and for some reason I kinda hope he gets some help and salvages his career. I don't why. That's just my feeling.
I do agree with his take on Snyder, MOS being depressing and WB handling their DC properties incorrectly. On film. They've nailed it on tv for the most part. :olicityblows:
Even though we all already knew it, it still angers me to see him confirm that Fox will put out pure shite just to keep their hands on the film rights. I guess I'm a little hypocritical though as I'm happy to see the Deadpool film finally happening.

That doesn't seem like much of a meltdown

frick off dude. We're getting a Deadpool movie because the fans want it and people in Hollywood believe in it. I'll even give props to Ryan Reynolds for never letting it die. And while I know he needs a hit, that doesn't mean he's not going to have fun and really put forth the effort.
I hope this guy gets blacklisted after this crap.
