I just got diagnosed a month or so ago as a type 1 at 32....was in diabetic ketoacidosis....had to spend 3 nights in the hospital...currently on shots but was thinking about the pump but I agree that I don't want something stuck in me all the time...has anyone looked into afrezza? It's inhaled versus injected...that would cut me down to 1 shot a day instead of 4

I beleive afrezza is for type 2 only but i am not postive.

The pump is the way to go once you get it figured out it makes my life so much more easier. I do not have the high and lows like before with shots. Getting insulin all day verses a shot running out is much better.
