Uh, NFL fans are fans of franchises first and foremost. But, that's not the point.
The point is that the NFL and the players have agreed on these policies and each signed off on the CBA.
They agreed that the NFL controls endorsement deals during league activities (games, press conferences, etc.). It is simply dumb to complain about that structure when the players agreed to the deal. It's even dumber to support the players in that effort.
