Media wise Xbox has the advantage at the moment. It is very nice not having to change inputs.

The only word of warning I will offer is that you will need to have the Xbox on any time you want to watch TV if you choose to use it as your all in one device.

I thought at first it could be a straight pass-through, but that is not the case.

Trying to get my wife to turn off more than 1 device when leaving the room has been a pain.

So if I run my cable box through the Xbox One, and turn it on.

Can I operate the cable box with my remote or do I have to watch everything through the Xbox?
