meh the idea that a movie is a christmas movie or not is completely the persons choice in the matter.

Pretty much.
I find it amusing some want to say if a movie doesn't need Christmas as a setting to work it can't be a Christmas flick.
Well then I guess A Christmas Carol is not really a Christmas story b/c you don't need the holiday to have a tale about ghosts visiting a POS to spur him into being more charitable.
