what I see on some Boston message boards if Hanley in LF, Pablo at 3B.... then after Ortiz retires/Napoli moves on rotate the 2 between 1B/DH

I seriously doubt they put Panda at 1B. His production is above average for a 3rd baseman, but probably below average for a 1st baseman.
