You can get after market lasers plus look at many of the portable stands most of them will accept any saw I think my portable stand is a ryobi it works great I do like the wheeled ones.

All good points Cracker. I noticed where Dewalt now has a XPS LED that lights your work and the blade throws a shadow that you use to align with. The reviews I read says it's just as accurate as the laser and you never have to adjust it, plus it's cheaper.
