they argue that society has minimized or decreased evolution, which is somewhat true. that's why evolutionary psychology is still relevant today
however, the issue is the assumption that our intelligence is developed on certain evolutionary concepts that we perceive today. what i can tell you is that we've become even more intertwined and further away from hunger-gatherer societies AND we have objective evidence that intelligence is increasing
that's a difficult problem to rectify

And there's evidence that says otherwise...
We're certainly moving away from hunter/gatherer, and sure we've become more intertwined, but that doesn't make us any smarter as a whole. The technological advancements that we've made will ultimately have a negative impact on intelligence, as people will no longer need to learn anything, when they can just Google whatever they need to know, when they need to know it - then forget it.
