Apparently I'm not the only one that did not think it was done. I'll take David LaCerte's word over someone who anonymously posted on a message board that someone else told him it did happen.

I love this Luke guy….he is a wonderful man, father, husband, and American. And I am being dead serious….he is 100 times the man I will ever be.
However…I don't think he should automatically be gifted the chance to appear on the field and I have a problem with outsiders trying to get petitions going to ensure that he sees the field. There are plenty of other walk-ons who never get to see the field either. I am sure even Luke himself wouldn't want something that he has not earned, just for the purpose of ceremony.
And for those in this thread saying Miles is not a class act if he doesn't play the kid….you can all go die in the same fire together.
