There is a legal process and a grand jury that will have heard much more evidence and I'll respect their decision.

Considering how cops almost always get off, I will assume he is not indicted. And I really have little to no respect for our judicial system.

I am going to bet there will be some sort of meta analysis in a few weeks, I will likely respect that much more than the grand jury.

As to whether he should be charged with something....when I first heard the story, I thought probably yes. After hearing the next wave of information, I thought probably not. Now I have no real idea what happened that day, and likely never will.

I can totally see why the residents of ferguson will be fricking pissed off if he is not indicted but I wont really care.

Me too, there are a bunch of out of towners there ready to destroy their city because they are uncivilized people. I definitely would be pissed if I was a resident there.

I pretty much agree with you here, but to the extent the residents think Wilson shot the guy because of his race, I think they have no basis in fact (specific to Wilson) to think that.

If they think Wilson got off because he's a cop, well, no fricking shite. Welcome to civilization.

I am right there with you. I will try to read the entire linked piece later tonight.

Indictment is a pretty low standard, so I will tend to believe it was a "good shooting" if the grand jury does not indict but who is to say they will get it right?

I think there is a tremendous amount of pressure for the grand jury to indict. If I was on that grand jury, I would vote to idict if there was even a scintilla of doubt about whether or not Officer Wilson was guilty. I wouldn't want to put me or my family at risk by voting not to. Let's have a shite show trial and get all the evidence out in the open.
