Eric Mangini? Romeo Crennel? Norv Turner (thrice)? Art Shell? Chan Gailey?
It isn't as prevalent for losing coaches as it used to be, but it was just a few years ago when Eric Mangini got canned by the Jets and landed the Browns job inside of a week, and Crennel did a horrendous job with the Browns and ended up getting the interim tag removed in Kansas City.

And? I didn't say coaches don't get rehired. Coaching hires are overwhelmingly given to first time head coaches
