No it isnt. They just disagree with Dems on where to expand .gov the most.

Yes it is. What you say is reality but it isn't what they GOP advertises. You don't hear GOP candidtates saying "I can spend your money better than the other guy" in their political ads.

That is my point. If the GOP had campaigned like that this last election, they would have won jack squat

I agree with what UncleFestersLegs said.

Conservatives/the GOP (unless they are hard core libertarian, Ron Paul people) want to give the military a blank check for as much spending as they need for all times.

The GOP leadership also want to give corporations and wall street free reign no matter what, without restrictions. They also are more than willing to give handouts in the name of corporate welfare and to protect the billionaire class at all costs.

On the other side of the coin, the GOP gets off on punishing the poor. Not just hands off, they want to go on the offensive to punish the poor if it was up to them.

The GOP only cares about spending when they are either in the minority in congress or a Dem is in the WH.

It happened in 94 with Gingrich and Clinton and again since 2010.

What's hilarious is that Dems claim credit for the last budget "surplus" under Clinton but go back and look at the congressional voting. Democrats all voted in lockstep against the budget.

As a privately employed taxpayer, what is the real difference to me between a handout (Democrat), a business subsidy (Republican), or a government job (Democrat and Republican)?

frick both parties.
