The graph also shows "assaults deaths" trending way down from the
Mid 70's (which is true)
Statistically we are 30 year lows for almost all violent crimes
The only reason "gun deaths" are trending up is because suicide is included in those statistics,
Also,if you take cities like Philly and Chicago there's no question we're
very comparable to all those other countries if not lower.

Even Chicago's homicide rate has fallen dramatically, especially since around 2004
