Yeah hes been told 3 days mouth is very dry but weve been wetting with a sponge. Hes just not talking at all asleep constantly with heavy breathing. Ita crazy cause three days ago he was talking and conscious.

Hospice tends to over-do the meds to keep patients docile and easy to handle. Not really a bad thing but the patients mostly just sleep during their final hours. Prayers sent.

Best to you and your family. Went through this with my grandfather a few months ago. Saturday he was out of his hospital bed, being himself, by Monday he was unresponsive and we lost him Tuesday. One of the most emotionally draining experiences of my life.
