If its clean, no one will care. Safe bet is to shave if you think you're likely the best candidate. However if it looks good, someone may also have a beard and appreciate you appearance. I have to be honest that's it likely meaningless.

Keep the beard, immediately apologize for having the beard, make up some story about a family member or friend having a disease and the beard is being used as tribute/charity for them, profit.
