I haven't had a pair in a couple years, and really want to get some for the winter. I want some pretty traditional, leather, casual boots. Preferably steel-toe, but not a necessity.

honestly, there is no way I would get steel toes unless you have a real need for them...they are far less comfortable than the same boots without steel toes...

I have a pair of waterproof justin steel toe's that i wear for work. If i could keep them clean and polished, they'd make a great casual boot. Extremely comfortable.

I have some justin steel toe shite kickers I wear almost daily in the winter. I know there are much better bootsnout there, but I like these just fine.

Do not get steel-toe for casual boot.

And get some Lucchese's.

Georgia Boot

Really simple and don't stand out and make you look like a douche bag.
I wear them with them just with jeans and now even when I go hunting.

I work on my feet up to 16 hrs a day. I wear Wolverine waterproof, non slip, steel toe boots. Feet never hurt. They hurt when I take the boots off.

I got some bomb arse UGGS that are so comfy. They're cool, they're not the bear paw kind that everybody jokes about.

ETA - these are them - I hated them on the shelf but they look great with jeans. Most comfortable / warmest boots ever and I can tell they'll last for a few years.

I wouldn't get steel toe unless I needed PPE.

Ariat, Justin, Lucchese, Tony Llama, Brooks Brothers, Alden. It all depends on what kind of boot you want. Different purpose means different boot. I even have a cheap pair of Durangos that I literally give no shits about and they are comfortable to wear when I go fishing or hunting. Justin and Ariat are affordable casual boots. Boots with a suit Brooks Bro. or Alden make nice comfortbale boots that can be shined well. Tony Llama and Lucchese have good dress boots that are a little more rugged looking. You have to know what you want out of your boot in order to pick the right one. Even then there are no wrong answers when dealing with the brands I outlined above. It's your preference my man. If you wanna spend 90$ just to have a boot get some Justin's. Justin is a good all around boot cheap and they last. I stayed with a good pair of Justin's for a 2 years offshore. People also like Red Wings but I've never owned a pair.
