"No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul."

LF is injured and that is my only concern - whether he is being asked to do too much heavy contact in our unbalanced offense rather than getting him to the perimeter and in space where he can get up some steam.

At LSU they wear mouthpieces that measure the G force that each hit causes. When the cumulative total exceeds the safety limit they are supposed to be in non-contact for a recovery period. He was held out of contact for several days prior to either ALA or ARK.

The players and fans were on the field. There were infractions for unsportsmanlike conduct. You can see the ref eyeing the onfield celebration.

This crown of the helmet rule has nothing to do with helmet to helmet or above the shoulders.

Foster definitely is leading with the crown of his helmet and he wears a special brace and collar because he does this and, yes, he is going to ruin or break his neck.

Saban revels in this dirt. He intimidates the refs into picking up flags. He wins. He is in their faces. I do not whine about the way a game is officiated, but ALA, FLA, and Miss State got wins from bad officiating. I think we choked and did not play all out offensively to win. Always having to come from behind or clinging to a 3 pt lead is not putting the game away. If the defense scooped and scored the Yeldon fumble that would have been how we won Florida, and Ole Miss with a superb defensive effort bailing out our SEC worst offense.
