This cuts both ways and the championship game can frick you over, too. If someone were undefeated in the round robin, there would be no issue. It's just a fluky set of circumstances that everyone likes TCU's resume more, but Baylor beat them head-to-head. It will be funny if the committee punts on the B12 debate by just taking Ohio State.

Yep, this year for example a conference title game could frick over FSU who should be sitting pretty in the clubhouse at 12-0 but instead theyll need to win one more game vs Duke/GT.

Hell, Im sure Oregon or Alabama would prefer to not play a conference title game at this point as well.

If Wisconsin wins out and loses to tOSU in the Big 10 title game, this will happen.

yes...it burned Tennessee in 2001, but it has helped SEC teams more than it has hurt in the last 10 years.

I would prefer conferences of 10 teams, with everyone playing each other. It is the best way to determine a champion. I wish the Big 5 would re-organize into six 10-team conferences.
