I still don't think he will be an outrageous price.

I'd say it's more likely he leaves, due to some team overpaying. But, I don't think he will get anything ridiculous. Maybe Loomis figures out a way to keep the guy.

You don't break the bank on a RB unless he's an all-purpose guy who can really make a difference. Ingram doesn't fit that mold. What he believes he is (in his head)...is a lot more than what he has shown in four seasons.

It's time to move forward. Draft a RB in the 3rd-4th round and try to find a FA who can effectively run the screen. Invest the $$$ in the O-line.

For someone to say the Saints don't use him appropriately is a joke. What they're really saying is he's unable to adapt to anything other than being a one-dimensional player. We're NOT going to change our system to account for his shortcomings.

We have too many holes on this team and can't afford to overpay an average player OR to waste a high draft pick (1st-2nd round) on a RB.

1) We don't use running backs in a manner which necessitates paying them a lot of money.
2) Ingram will receive a better offer from another team who will let him be the starter. (And not just because all of our other RBs are injured)
3) I think we fall in the middle of the draft (probably 15 again). That will be too high to take Gordon, but it may be too far back to get him in the 2nd round.

Just my 2 cents FWIW.
