They have to graduate first. Black and hispanics have very low graduation rates.

1st year classes (usually around 180-200) usually have less than 15-20! I know its usually lower than that in the south. So of course, a few minority kids that fail out will skew the numbers. White kids and Asian kids fail out every year As well, but are represented much more in the class demographics
