Let's look at our starting QB's QBR for this season.

Anthony Jennings QBR for every game:
Wisconsin: 31.9 (not benched)
Sam Houston State: 99.5 (not benched)
UL Monroe: 41.7 (not benched)
Mississippi State: 13.0 (benched at end of game but only because starters came out)
New Mexico State: 0.1 (benched and Harris gets start vs Auburn)

Brandon Harris QBR vs Auburn:
6.8 (Benched and never starts again)

Anthony Jennings QBR for remaining games:
Florida: 48.3 (not benched)
Kentucky: 64.2 (not benched)
Ole Miss: 49.0 (not benched)
Alabama: 12.7 (not benched)
Arkansas: 22.4 (not benched)

Highest QBR to get benched: 6.8
Lowest QBR to not get benched: 12.7

I don't know what to do with these stats, but I wanted the rant to see them. Based on the information, Jennings did well enough @Arkansas to start for the aTm game.

maybe if the 6.8 wasn't the guy behind him he would have been benched by now.

Damn, Harris looked like shite in that game. Does that eve take into account not knowing which was to hand the ball off?

Can you idiots stop blaming the fricking players?

Maybe they're not SEC championship caliber players, but who would be in this offense?

PLEASE LES, start Harris so that we can finally put an end to these threads.

Prior to AU it looked like the staff was more comfortable in putting Harris in the shotgun and letting him run a somewhat watered down version of the spread offense. There was the hope that because he was starting at AU, LSU was going to change up it's offensive approach. They didn't. LSU basically ran the same offense as they had with Jennings prior. In that game, with that offense, Harris went 3/12 for 58 yards (one pass covered 52 yard; the other two were screens). Of his 10 drives, 7 were 3 & outs (70%)

If you think that simply just replacing Jennings with Harris to run the same offense is the key to unlocking some explosive (or even just average) offensive attack then you're a fool. I'm all for making some kind of change to hopefully spark the offense. But just simply replacing one QB with the other isn't going to make a difference.

Depends on whether his name is Lee or Jefferson.

not a performance issue with Les. If he likes you, you get unlimited leash length (JJ, AJ). If you're in his imaginary dog house you typically get a quick hook (Lee, Harris)

that depends on what your name is: J Lee or B Harris? one bad half or series for that matter
J Jefferson or A Jennings? they have to either get hurt or kicked off the team.
