Updating the sound in my truck

Got tired of the shitty Bose in the truck, and have a bunch of speakers sitting in a closet that I've collected over the years. I plan on putting it in when it gets warm for a day or two, but need to know if I need anything else to get this to work because I've never upgraded a Bose system, and have been out of the game for a while. It os an 04 Silverado 2500HD crew cab with Onstar, rear radio controls, and all of that business. I don't listen to rap or anything with boomy bass, and don't want to lose space behind the rear seats, so a bigger sub back there or under the seat is out of the question.
I am planning on this head unit Pioneer 5600, this dash kit Scoshe, this harness PAC RP5-GM11. Is that everything I need to keep the stock functionality like radio controls, onstar, door dingers, and rear controls?
Stuff I have sitting in a closet:
Boston Pro 6.5 components for the front
SR80 5x7s for the rear
Eclipse 4/3/2 highs amp @ 125x4
MTX 250d sub amp
All new 18AWG wiring for speakers, and proper sized wiring for amps
I ordered one of these Tang Band 6.5" sub because I want it to all look stock, with the exception of the radio. I planned on putting that in place of the stock Bose sub that faces the firewall, and wiring it to the MTX amp.
Am I missing anything? Do I need any other wiring shite to keep the radio and controls working like it was stock?

Nope, the Bose sounds shitty and doesn't get as loud as I want. Like I said, I'm not trying to romp any bass or win any competitions here, just make it sound much better. Plus, I have all of this stuff sitting in a closet

Make sure you crank it up while you're in the drive-through at McDonald's too. Everybody loves that.

I'm guessing he's lowering the truck to about 1" off the ground... gotta be careful you don't destroy the neon lights when you go over speed bumps and stuff.

I'm so glad i grew out of that shite. Didn't have the money to go uber trash, but i wasted a good 200-300 on speakers for my truck as a kid. And i do mean, WASTED.

I'm considering putting this much money into my SUV, but I only want SQ, I do not care about volume or bass.

Maybe common folks won't notice but i definitely feel like an upgrade in my fairly new truck could be had. Sound just doesn't sound crisp and very quality.

Yeah, IDGAF what they say about that. The 2004 Bose system just sounds like crap. Maybe in 2004 it was good for factory speakers, but it is not up to my standards.
Like I said, I'm not trying to win any competitions. I'm just trying to make it sound better all around, and play louder when I want it to play louder (the Bose won't allow it to go past a certain volume). I don't listen to rap or anythin like that. My main listening is 60s/70s/80s rock and TX/Red Dirt country

quote:You have no idea what you're talking about. A radio is a radio, as long as the same quality of sound comes out. Older MTX amps are very good. My 250d bench tested at 439 watts when I got it worked on. The Tang Band 6.5 sub is one of the best smaller subs made. You won't find anything better from the bigger car audio manufacturers

I went JL Audio all the way around in components, subs, amps, etc. Love it.

I had JL highs and a 4 channel highs amp (not slash). The amp sucked, and the components were too tinny for me. The Bostons with a baffle and the Eclipse amp sound plenty good
