I agree. In the meantime, do you think it would be wrong to give the dog a very mild dose of xanax (i forgot to ask the vet this)? I know it might sound weird but she has a script for xanax cause she gets freaked out during thunderstorms. I'm thinking it could at least get her to relax a bit.
